A place where people come together to celebrate life, to meditate, sing and dance. Life is to be lived as totally as possible, from moment to moment, intense and conscious. It is a dance, a play. Living life is the art of dancing along.

Why OshoAkash
To contribute to a world in which joy, celebration and meditation are central elements. Our modern life is efficient and comfortable, full of material richness, but at the same time many people feel a disbalance. For life is not only about having and becoming, but far more about being. Eventually, the key to a truly happy, free and fulfilled life is not in the outside world, but deep within yourself. And meditation provides the way in, the way that brings you back to your true being. Who are you, without dogma’s, conditionings, expectations, identities, patterns of behaviour? When you peel off all the layers, who or what remains?  

Our inspiration for OshoAkash we find (among others) with Osho ‘My whole work here is to make you declare freedom and total independence from all prisons — religious, national, racial. Only that is going to give you a life of celebration. Your freedom will give you the space to dance, to sing, to celebrate. My vision of religiousness is that of sheer celebration, a tremendous joy in life, in love, in creative actions.’ – Osho

OshoAkash in the future
In about 10 years we would like to create a new meditation centre in the Netherlands. In our vision it will be an international meeting place of celebration, love and meditation. People meet each other in an intimate and loving atmosphere. There will be meditation rooms, a music studio, a creative space, guest lodging, a permanent living area and a restaurant. Around the ashram are actively associated people living who can also accommodate guests. There will be a daily meditation program, every Sunday a special day and there will be meditation-, music- and cook courses and retreats.
